GrieveWell Presents the 5th Annual Kite Festival!
Celebrate your loved ones and support others at this family-friendly event.
Join us for the 5th Annual GrieveWell Kite Festival on Saturday, June 26 from 1-4 PM as hundreds of community members gather to watch professional kite fliers dance large kites across the sky to music and join in on family fun activities and crafts. There is space for you to fly your own kites with Frustrationless Flyers, food and beverage for purchase.
WHEN:
Saturday, June 26, 2019, 1:00 – 4:00 PM
*A virtual Fly and Remember Memorial Event with Arbor Hospice and Ele’s Place starts at Noon. We will also live stream the kite performances for our online fans.
LOCATION:
Lillie Park – enter parking at Lille Park South – 4365 Platt Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48108
Thanks to support from our generous sponsors, the GrieveWell Kite Festival is free and open to the public!
Participants are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. There will be small tents set up for those viewing kite flying with your group. Masks wearing will be encouraged crowded areas as we want this event to be a fun and safe experience for all attending – especially familes with unvaccinated families.
*The Kite Festival will take place rain or shine, but please join us in wishing for blue skies and a steady breeze.
Advanced, online registration for the Kite Festival is recommended, but not required.
