Grief is a unique journey, and no grief experience is identical. It can be painful and confusing. It has its own timetable. Grief is a natural part of life, yet we do not always have the skills and resources to understand and manage the grief process.

Although grief is a natural part of life, there is little in our popular culture that supports a healthy grieving process. We are often uncomfortable knowing what to say to the bereaved, or how to provide meaningful support.

Despite studies that demonstrate the significant physical and emotional impact of unresolved grief, once the funeral is over and family and friends have returned to “the real world,” the bereaved are often left feeling isolated and unsure about how to move forward into their new reality.

GrieveWell has developed a series of presentations and workshops to build a more compassionate community. Designed by a Licensed Social Worker and experienced practitioner, GrieveWell workshops can be delivered in-person or virtually and offer interactive activities and accessible information.
