Grief Centered Yin Yoga with Debbie
Yin yoga is a restorative practice that helps heal body, heart, and mind. Debbie Klemptner will lead us in a way that will allows us to be still, and notice what the body and mind are telling us.
The long-held, deeply restful postures of Yin provide a welcome contrast to our Yang dominated, active, and especially in these times, stressful, lifestyle. As a remedy, Yin is a practice that encourages us to slow down and connect with ourselves—immersing in the kind of stillness that can promote deep relaxation, health and overall wellbeing. Physically, Yin targets the deep connective tissue between the muscles and the fascia throughout the body, and aims to increase circulation in the joints, improve flexibility and mobility, and restore the natural range of motion. As we work into these layers, we create the conditions to release deeply held tension both in the body and mind. Debbie is an experienced yoga instructor with a loyal following from her years teaching at brēTH/ Yoga & Pilates Ann Arbor and Travis Pointe Country Club.
