Grief Centered Yin Yoga with Debbie
A Zoom link will be sent once you register. No prior yoga experience necessary. Make sure you have a mat or carpeted area, water bottle, and a couple of blankets nearby you during the workshop.
Debbie Klemptner has been teaching yoga since 2017, and practicing since 2011. Yoga was not initially her first love in exercise or movement, but her love for the practice grew. She began her journey with hot yoga, and quickly became hooked. Once she experienced all of the benefits of yoga—physically, mentally and emotionally—she knew she had to share it and teach!
Debbie experienced some profound losses in the last decade, the most devastating being the loss of her younger brother in 2014 and her father in 2020. Both losses were sudden and unexpected. In a time where nothing made sense and everything felt hopeless, yoga was there for her. It provided a space where she felt safe, and it allowed her to grieve and take care of her body, mind and heart at the same time. Debbie is forever grateful that she had yoga during this time; it helped her heal and continues to do so.
She currently teaches online at Mind Body Rx, her own little entrepreneurial venture, where she offers vinyasa flow yoga, restorative yin yoga, pilates, and strength based classes. She also teaches in-person at various local studios. “I am both thrilled and honored to partner once again with GrieveWell to share this practice with you in your own healing journey,” says Debbie.
