Exploring our grief through art with Kathleen Buday

Connecting through Creativity: Coping with Loss

Connect with others who have experienced a loss. During times of grief, individuals may feel disconnected and uncertain. Participants will explore ways to use the creative process as a means to communicate feelings, thoughts, and experiences. You be will guided through a simple expressive activity that invites conversation and connection.

Together we will observe, discuss, create, and reflect. The benefits of creating and sharing within a group provides collective healing and understanding. All are welcome, from no art experience to the seasoned artist.

Participants will need: 2-3 sheets white drawing paper (ideally 11×14, but letter-sized printing paper will suffice), a pack of oil pastels or crayons, a pencil or pen, a notebook or paper for reflective writing, and a comfortable, quiet space.

Register below. A Zoom link will be sent once you register.
